Здесь живут потомки Чингисхана,
Кочующее племя из Золотой орды.
Не стучат уже копыта,
Не поднимаются в воздух стаи стрел.
Ушла былая слава и величье,
Оседлым стал народ и не у дел.
Татаро - монгольское иго
Висело три столетья
Ярмом на шее у Руси.
Полчища кочевников,
Непокоренные сжигали города.
Хозяйничала на Русских землях
Татаро-монгольская орда.
В знак памяти о том
Стоит здесь памятник
Всадник на коне.
Зовется это место
Усть-Орда.
А их потомок как?
Он все такой  же,
Коренной житель Сибири
Бурят!

There live descendants of Genghis Khan,
Wandering tribe from the Golden Horde.
Hoofs don't knock already,
Don't rise in air of flight of arrows.
The former glory and greatness left,
The people and out of work became settled.
Tataro - the Mongolian yoke
Three centuries hung
Millstone round the neck at Russia.
Hordes of nomads,
The unsubdued burned the cities.
Managed on Russian lands
Tataro-mongolsky horde.
As a keepsake about that
There is here a monument
The horseback rider on a horse.
This place is called
Ust-Orda.
And their descendant as?
It all same,
Aboriginal of Siberia
Buryat!

Lips Horde center of the national Buryat district. A horde in transfer - a place, and Ust - the beginning. Initial place. The capital of the empire of Chingizkhan the Caspian Sea had Golden Horde near to Astrakhan. The empire stretched from China to the Volga River. Long ago fell into decay and broke up to small khanates. And the monument costs as a sign of that that the population was when that nomadic. I joked in the poem a little.
